Thinking Outside the Box

Carol had a picture of the web on the loom before it was washed and there clearly were boxes in warp and weft floats. They became much more subtle.

Still this is a stunning scarf. She said it was a Merino and Tencel blend that worked up so well.
Thinking outside the box, Terry found even more boxes. This was a little joke before the main work.
Sort of out of the Box because the threading came from one place, the tie-up from another, and the treadling from an altogether other place. Nice hand from the Merino/Silk blend yarn.
Claudia tried several samples using her preferred warp yarn. And she settled on twill blocks for her design.
The weaving is lovely. The twill blocks are very subtle with these wonderful colors.
