Ever since a weaving class with Desiree Koslin at F.I.T. Terry has been attracted to Lace Weaves.
It is all 8/2 bamboo.This was one of the most difficult pieces he has done. The black warp AND black weft were difficult to see even in very good light.
One of Carol's first woven pieces was in Undulating Twill. So she went back to the pattern.

The yarn was some that she got at last years Vogue Knitting Live Exhibition. All Alpaca I believe she said.
Claudia was nostalgic about a pattern in the Davidson book called "A Thousand Flowers".
A great choice from a publication that is practically a weaver's bible. Wonderful!..
Thomas wove this placemats a while back. What stunning colors.
Placemats they may be but it would be a shame to cover them up with plates and cutlery. Hang them on the wall so they can be seen.
Oren remembered a book he had of optical illusions. He came up with this great scarf in trying to create one of them.

We certainly feel he hit the mark. Great kuse of pattern and color.
