August 2025
A reminder that the images below are links to enlarged versions.
Not sure who suggestedd Tranquility but here it is.

Terry feels tranquil when near flowing water. .

The scarf was woven with Zephyr, a blend of merino wool and silk. It is super soft.

Katy showed this sample she wove in a course. I mean, who doesn't like lace weaves.

The stripes surrounding the lace certainly add to the piece.

Claudia created this wonderful paper woven work. The paper was woven and then delicatly touched with watercolor.
 .
The group had a lot of fun discussing how it should be presented. Shadow box? Framed? Let us know what you do Claudia.

Carol saw tranquility in clouds. This delightful tapestry had a lot of fun materials worked into it.
 .
They include raffia, and some slubby cotton. Tranquil? Yes indeed.

Thomas alway surprises. This is a special work with very fine colored thread woven around the pins.
 .
This view from the side shows how it was done. Just setting the pins accurately is a great achievement. Kudos.
