OUR GROUP CHALLENGES
Round and round it goes and where it stops . . .
June 2014
"Round and Round it goes and where it stops . . ." was the challenge suggested by Terry. We will have to find a better place in the atrium to sit. Most of these pictures have the shadows of the bamboo plants that are in there.

Terry did an overshot table runner in two shade of blue.

The double hemstitching at the ends works nicely for this kind of textile

Barbara wove some clever tubes (round and round!) to make water bottle carriers.

She wanted solid colors on both sides but we think this works very well indeed.

Darby went round and round when she put the soumak edge in the border.

Another splendid rug. How I wish I had room for more.

Ronnie had a pattern that certainly went round and round. The usual superb skill.

This had such a lovely drape and feel. Bravo Ronnie!

Leila began this scarf with one kind of weft, changed and then back to the first ones. Round and round.

What were those magic weft threads? Leila has no fear in working with the unusual and she always succeeds.
