Carol chose Complementary colors for this rug. Isn't it amazing!

You have to love the way she works the ends of the weaving. No fringe, no braid, no hem. The warp ends get worked back into the weaving for a clean finish.

Terry worked in complementary colors as well. And taking a break from scarves, he wove these towels in thirsty cotton.

The orange and blue were supposed to neutralize each other but here they don't.

Claudia thought it would be fun to see how complementary colors would work woven against one another in a gamp. It is really fun to see the different combinations.

And isn't the fringe treatment fun. This should be a wall hanging to look at all the time.
![](images/challenge_compliments/challenge_complimennts_ronnie1.jpg) Ronnie showed this extraordinary scarf inspired by the book Stubinitsky Code.

Leila always comes up with surprises. She knows the name of the alpaca that the weft yarn came from. And the metalic spun with the fiber makes for a marvelous effect.

The space created by the leno really makes this a remarkable piece.
