Try it Again - February 2019
"Try it Again" was the challenge suggested by Darby. She will start us off.

Here is the rug that Darby was going to inspire the next one. Cat approved.

And here is the new version. Now that's a real beauty.

And here is a close up. Superb in every way.

Leila is repicating a wall hanging she did a while back on a rigid heddle loom. I say it's fabulous

The warp is stainless steel!! Lots of really fine yarn in the weft. All adds up to a spectacular piece

Terry needed to replace some pot holder that he wove over 30 years ago. The originals (the brown ones underneath) were getting pretty ragged. New ones are in the same block double weave technique.

He also decided to do a scarf in a weave he first learned at the first weaving class at F.I.T. Swedish Lace. Four shafts and still a favorite to do.>

Claudia reworked an earlier piece. She wasn't happy with the color in the overshot pattern so she tried bleaching it. She is a lot happier with it now.

Then she reframed an award winning piece that she has had on a wall in her home. Really brought it back to life. It was great to see this piece again after so long.

Both of these scarves by Ronnie are spectacular but she didn't like the fact that she couldn't see the pattern on the darker one. So she rewove it in the dark and light version.

Either way we say they are both lovely.
