OUR GROUP CHALLENGES

"Minimal Color Contrast"
April 2018

"Minimal Color Contrast" was the challenge suggested by Sue. Photos below are given the order that the works were presented.

Darby knocked another one out of the ballpark with this spectacular rug.

Her attention to detail is remarkable. Love the special treatment on the braided fringe.

Ronnie always has a wonderful piece to show. No exception here. We were getting a little shadow from the bamboo overhead but it works with the lovely colors in this scarf.

You just have to caress the soft hand of her scarves.

Carol brought this lovely piece which indeed has minimal color contrast. Or should we say magical color contrast. .

We are sure this would make some happy wearer very proud to own this. Simply stunning.

Leila says that this scarf has only 6.5% of a contrasting color so that is minimal.

In any case the combination and the weave are super beautiful.

Terry's response are these all cotton towel. It is a fun weave on only four shafts.

The first attempt at the challenge was the darker red ones on the bottom. For variety Terry the additional ones in orange on top.
