Doodle

"Doodle" was the challenge suggested by Ronnie. Ronnie was not able to be with us today. We wish her well and a speedy rocovery..

Terry created these towels with "Doodles". Not wanting to chanage the tie-up from a previous piece on the loom, he just varied the sequence to treadling

Warp is 8/2 unmercerized cotton. Weft is the seme.

Carol's wonderful hand dyed warp works so well with this undulating twill scarf.

She says the pattern remindes her of the doodles she would fill pages and pages in school.

Katy wove this "doodle" which she modled after a piece of jewlery given to her.

It reads totally different tunred upside down. But then which way is really the right way? Weaver? Dreamer?. !

Claudia picked a Keith Harring image for her "Doodle". Not easy to do in tapestry. She wound up with a lot of bobbins working across and some of the finer lines just not practical in tapestry.

Still the results are fun and her work is terrific.
