An Interuption
April 2023
"An Interuption" was the challenge suggested by Leila
Leila would weave a while with one weft and then interupt with a different one.
And she was very brave selecting the boucle warp. Not easy to work with and she scored high points here.
Ronnie had interupted the blocks in her chenille scarf by changing warp color.
It has a woderful drape and hand. Someone will be very luck to own this.
Claudia's rug interupted the sequence of wefts. Lots of change made for a wonderful piece
And the colors work so well with the other changes to her dining room.
Terry also wove a rag rug. It was part of a joint project with his upstairs weaving friend, Judy.
The white weft came from sheets that his late husband got in his transportation home from hospital stays.
Katy took the pattern from when television shows are interupted. Great match.
The rep weave hanging captures the image perfectly and turns th etables with the embroidered message. Fun Katy!!
Carol had an interuption in the weft of this beautiful scarf. She created a slit to let the free end pass through. Clever!
Great way to wear a scarf and aren't those colors gorgeous???
