Straight Draw Magic
"Straight Draw Magic" was the challenge suggested by Terry. This time we will start off with his interpretation.
Terry used straight draw threading and a crepe weave. The color variations are in the space dyed weft.
Warp is Tencel. The pattern appears to change with the color but the treadling was the same through out.
Darby's interpretation sold at the Show & Sale of the Hudson-Mohawk Weavers' Guild in November. She had no time to weave another.
Her cat Pixie liked this rug the best of all she had done.!
Ronnie did super work as usual. Don't you just love the jewel tone colors?
And you know it will be wonderful to wear. P.S. She sold one to a neighbor just before the meeting. Contratulations!
Barbara did these wonderful towel. She has quite a following on Staten Island that buy these practically as fast as she can produce them.
Really beautiful. Such great colors.
Ever adventurous Leila created this wonderful scarf.
She even tried weaving with two wefts in a pick and pick arrangement. One of the wefts was very fine silk. It almost disappears.
