"Show Me Some Love"
"Show Me Some Love" was the Terry's challenge.
When Terry was in school on Valentines Day kids would exchange cards often signing them with XOXO which stood for hugs and kisses.
And hugs and kisses made it into this scarf in bamboo
Claudia looked for a pattern with hearts and found this. We get the benefit of seeing the yarns used.
The darker warp is an alpaca silk blend and the weft is pure silk. Yummy!.
Carol loves pattern #728 in the book "A Weaver's Book of 8-Shaft Pattern" by Carol Strickler.
The book was published in black and white. There is a fun trend now for weavers to weave the samples and show what they look like in color. We this this is a masterpiece interpretation.
Ronnie said that she wanted to show her love for varigated yarn. And, of course, she did so masterfully.
It is simply astonishing the wonderful work she does with chenille. Love it!
