Ronnie's beautiful chenille scarf was inspired by a painting called “Fire” by Julie Mehretu that she saw at an exhibition at the Whitney.

It certainly captures the feelings in the painting. Wonderful work.

Terry always liked the work of Paul Klee. Some of his grid like patterns really translate easily to weaving.

And the colors work well with Klee's palate.

Claudia was inspired by "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky. You can almmost hear the theme of walking between the paintings.
![](images/challenge_exhibition/challenge_exhibition_claudia2.jpg) These paper weavings done by Claudia should be in a gallery somewhere we all agree.
