Leila was born on a ranch in Colombia. She remembers the local cloth being like this.

It is certainly reminiscent of rough ranch life. Great work Leila.

Terry had a very formative weaving memory about not weaving anything that could be easily produced commercially. So he tries not to. This is a very early example of his work.

It was woven probably more than 30 years ago and given to someone who promised to make a vest for him. Long lost it was recently returned. Thanks to Christine for keeping it all this time.

Carol created this wonderful scarf based on the memory of a favorite dress she had as a child. It was made of red velvet.

Such and interesting weave. It was modified to eliminate some large floats in the weft. Really looks wonderful.

Claudia created this great baby blanket for a "future first memory." Lucky baby is going to have an heirloom from Claudia's loom.

Don't we all love the slubby cotton. So perfect for warm use and easy cleaning!

Ronnie's memory goes back to the first class at F.I.T. where they were taught plain weave and twill and given a lot of colors to work in.

These bands of twill and plain weave really work. And again she is a master of chenille. Stunning!
