Fibonacci
June 2023
"Fibonacci" was the challenge suggested by Terry.

Terry made the Fibonacci sequend in the sizes of the twill blocks in this scarf.

Warp is a fine bamboo yarn and the weft is his handspun merino wool.

Claudia worked this great art piece in her own hand made paper. The text is from Fibonacci's "Liber Abaci" which dealt with calculatiion.

Love the way the figures are worked into some of the weft crossings. And the rabbits are so cute.

Oren showed this great napkin set that he recently finshed on his brand new 16 shaft loom.

Wonderful work Oren. You are really getting into the swing of this weaving thing we all love.

Thomas knocked it out of the park with this spectacular scarf.

Fibonacci sequence is in the weft patterns. This was done in lushious cashmir and silk. We couldn't keep our hand off of it..

Carol's towels in cottolin are treasures. Here she used Fibonacci to sequence the warp colors.

We love the way the "color and weave" sections work. More please!.

Katy use the Fibonacci sequence in determining the size of the color blocks in this towel

The black weft really works here to define each color block. !
