Anything without a Mistake
February 2014
"Anything without a mistake" was Barbara's challenge. This one was a bit tough but everyone had their own take on what make "no mistake" actually meant.
All of the responses were as you will see below very different.
Barbara who's challenge this is made this terrific scarf.
There is no mistake because the draft is a name draft used the phrase "No Mistake" to create it.
This is Darby's fabulous rug. No mistake there! It is smashing.
There she is holding her wonderful work.
Ronnie tried Saori weaving. In that philosophy there is no mistake. She just had fun with different treadlings.
Maybe there IS something to this Saori method. It certainly works well here.
Leila presented her interpretation of "Anything Without a Mistake".
And lovely it is too. She always is fearless in mixing colors and textures .
Terry's version "Anything Without a Mistake" featured a novelty yarn in both warp and weft. It is a crepe weave.
And there really is no mistake but then who could tell?
