Ragtime

"Ragtime" was the challenge suggested by Terry and so Terry begins the show.
Terry wove this double binding rug from rags. Hence Ragtime.
Also he felt that the placement of the blocks and their size looked like ragtime
Claudia created this very special rag rug to go under her loom. Rags are from fabric printed with musical notes.
Just had to get a shot of the entire rug. Super design.
Ronnie always does superb weaving with chenille. The colors and pattern reminded her of ragtime music.
What fun. Some lucky person will be wearing it this winter.
Darby wove this terrific wall hanging. A piano keyboard truly represents ragtime.
And the wonderful notes coming out of the keys! Perfect representation of the theme.
Leila captured the essence of the music and dance in ragtime.
Always adventurous she surprises us everytime with her work.
Carie used very fine rags for the thick weft in this charming rep weave.
Looks like the Eiffel Tower to me. A terrific exploration of the technique.
Carol used rags to create this fascinating bath mat. Bet it is super absorbent. And how did she get those diagonals?
Even the back side looks good. Still no idea how it was done. Brava!
