Carol created this river pattern on a rayon warp she hand dyed. Sure feels like water.

Wonderful to see how the differnent colors flow so beautifully into each other.

Thomas actually went to the Hudson to find these terrific pieces of driftwood. They make a great frame for the delicate river image.

All of the yarn and locks were hand dyed by Thomas.

Claudia worked in paper to weave this bend in a river. She dedicated it to our late member, Darby Downey.

There were a lot of challenges weaving the paper in making sure it didn't tear, Soft pencil helped to define the image. So haunting.

Terry made this small wall hanging. The water portion is handspun wool in 1/3 twill. He changed the diirection of the twill a number of times to give the feel of water.

The reeds at the river edge are rya knots. French knows make up the rocks, and clasped weft make up the sandbars..
