Favorite Monochrome
September 2021
"Favorite Monochrome" was the Terry's challenge.
Terry's favorite color is red. So, of course, the warp would be in those colors. Weft is a paler shade is his handspun.
Warp is bamboo and silk. The weft is wool and tencel.
Ronnie's worked this beautiful scarf in her preferred material, chenille.
What a wonderful texture this piece has. Someone is going to be very happy to have this warmth this winter.
Claudia chose block twills for this great work.
This captured the monochrome scheme but is visually very attractive. Love it.
Carol created this beautiful shawl in a snowflake pattern which is really wonderful in all the same color.
Very inspiring to see the pattern so subtle.
Leila can not reisist throwing in a little color or sparkle. And we wouldn't want her to!!
Still it manages to meet the "Monochrome" challenge. Lovely!
