OUR GROUP CHALLENGES
"Flower Power"
"Flower Power" was Carol's challenge.
Carol created this beautiful runner in rep weave.
And with the floral pattern it is certainly powerful.
Claudia took advantage of some sumptous soft wool for this beautiful wall hanging
It is overshot done in the Thousand Flowers pattern.
Terry did this small runner with a painted warp. That is the warp threads are painted before being woven.
Painting the warp allows the weft to soften the colors so the result looks more like watercolors.
Ronnie used a floral pattern for her answer to the challenge.
She is truely the queen of chenille. All hail the queen.
